Bikinis, tank tops, t-shirts, and shorts can wreak havoc on your self esteem and also on your weight-loss momentum (even if you are only five pounds away from your goal weight). DON'T let it discourage you from doing your workouts. Don't let how you look in those clothes define how beautiful you are. Remember we are not just working out our bodies but also our hearts and minds with each workout; the joy of feeling good in our clothes is a side benefit.
We need to stop comparing ourselves to the magazine covers and even the men and women in our workout videos.
Please take just two minutes and think about how far you have come. How much healthier are you today compared to the beginning of the year? Or think about where you were two years ago! Now hold your head up high and be proud of how strong you are and how far you have come.
