Yesterday was Halloween and I wanted to drop a quick note and remind you that a few pieces of candy do not add up to destroy all the hard work you are doing to get healthy. But what will sabotage your efforts are if you keep that candy around and keep indulging more than you need to. There is something I find in our culture that says, “Don’t throw it away!!!”. As if throwing away this candy is a ‘sin’ or just something that is unheard of. So what I say today is just throw the excess away. If you are desperate for a Kit-Kat there is more at the store. You can get it year round!
Please think of all the things sugar does to you, it’s not only about losing weight but it’s about looking vibrant. Having energy. And feeling good that YOU are in control of your food choices and that it’s not controlling you. Take back your power, and fight to be a healthier you.
