21 Day Fix is a super popular at home workout program right now. The program is 21 days long, is great for any fitness level (and I love that the modifier is actually modifying!), and comes with a eating plan that divides helps you not only know what to eat, but how much.
If you haven’t purchased 21 Day Fix (or are looking at doing 21 Day Fix Extreme) or if you have it but would like to be a part of a group for accountability*, reserve your spot in my next Accountability Group. If you have finished 21 Day Fix and loved it, and are looking for the next step this may be the next step for you!
How many calories do you burn during the 21 Day Fix workouts?
Granted it is going to be different for everyone, but this will give you a general idea of how many calories you can burn.
I am 5’9”, 164 pounds, and in good shape to give you an idea about me. You will burn differently based on your body. I use the Polar A300 with the chest strap to measure how many calories I burn. (I have about 10 pounds left to lose from baby #3, so I am not in as good of shape as I was when posting about calories burned in Turbo, CLX, etc…)
Calories I burned doing 21 Day Fix:
(All workouts are 30 minutes!)
Total Body Cardio Fix: 265 calories
Upper Fix: 175 calories (I used 5 and 8 pound weights)
Lower Body Fix: 257 calories (I used 8 pound weights, could go higher next time…)
Pilates Fix: 127 calories
Cardio Fix: 337 calories
Dirty 30: 255 calories
10 min Ab Fix:
If you have had 21 Day Fix for a while and are struggling to just jump in and do it, join one of my groups. It’s easy to be pulled in a million directions and end up putting ourselves on the back burner. I get it, I’ve had it for almost 8 months and am just now doing it. I had all kinds of excuses which are really self-sabotage…not sure I like her style, I’m bored, I don’t have time, etc!!! But after just a week of doing it I’m really liking it. I mean 30 minutes, if I can’t make that happen I need to evaluate more than just my health goals! If we want to be able to be there for those we love, we must first take care of ourselves. When we feel good, everyone around us benefits. Tell me about your goals here.
I’m still recording my personal results from 21 Day Fix. I’m a week in, and have gone from 164 to 161. I didn’t lose the common 3-5 pounds that most people do in the first few days of cleaning up their eating as I was eating pretty good before I started this. I was stuck in that 164-166 range though and was getting frustrating. My ‘baby’ turns 2 this week so I’m looking to this to get me to my happy weight which is 152-155. I’ll keep you posted. (I didn’t follow the food plan, which would intensify my results, I just jumped in and will add that at some point. I’m eating about 1700-1800 calories a day.)
