Start…pause…start again…get Zac off the table…start again…water guy came, get door…start again…Zac brings me 3 books to read, move them from in front of me on floor and continue…start again…(wonder if this is really worth it and contemplate just turning it off)…Zac steals my resistance band…keep going…Zac pours water on the coffee table where my laptop is…start again…Zac thinks the resistance band is a giant rubber band so as I'm doing lunges, bicep curls and such he pulls it out (maybe should thank him for extra resistance)~ keep going and manage to finish!
Burned 500 calories and felt great. I almost quit about 5 times because I had enough reason to, but I shut that voice up and refused to stop. You know as I've written before I'm not all about making your kids 'deal' why you workout but some days it's just how it happens to be. With my man out of town it gets a little tricky!
So- sending love to all you other moms trying to workout with your kids in the house! It can be done, and even if it's an ugly mess it's still better than nothing! Oh- and right after I finished he decided to play with the Legos I had set out for him to use while I was working out! HA!
