I hope you had refreshing weekend! We are all finally over being sick and it feels SO wonderful. I finished up my first full round of 21 Day Fix and am excited to compile my pictures and results to share with you all. From a message I got yesterday from one woman in the group I’m not the only one who had amazing results, “Fabulous! I lost 7 lbs and 12 inches everywhere altogether!” I’ll share more great stories as I get ready to open up applications for my next group.
This week, I want to challenge you to shake things up and do something that pushes you to reach your own health goals. Will you commit to exercising at least 4x for at least 30 minutes this week? I don’t care what you do, just get your heart rate up. Sweat. Release endorphins. Push through and feel the energy that comes after the workout is over.
Will you do that?
Here’s the deal, I struggled for a while not wanting to coach because I didn’t want to make it about a number on a scale. Or fall into promoting a certain body type, or diet plan, or just anything that would cause women to feel bad about themselves. I am ALL about empowering women, and finding balance, and loving ourselves from the inside out. So I felt a little stuck, because I know that while it isn’t about the number on the scale, I also know that number can be reflective of what’s happening on the inside.
- It can reflect feeling lost and that you’ve tried everything and still can’t lose weight.
- It can reflect a woman who is putting everyone else’s needs above her own.
- It can reflect lack of fulfillment that is being numbed with food.
- It can reflect depression, frustration, and many other emotions.
- Or it can simple reflect a goal that hasn’t been met yet.
So, when it comes to pushing you to exercise at least 4x this week, I want you to do it as a statement that you are putting yourself first! That you are worth investing in. I fully believe that your physically health will transfer over to your emotionally, mental, and spiritual health. And that leads to a Fully Engaged Life! (Or simply, more energy, confidence, and feeling good in your own skin)!
It will take some re-arranging of your time, (which I know most of us already feel is scarce, but you need this!), you may get sore, you may want to cuss though your entire workout, you may just want to ingore me and this email…please don’t.
Even if you are tired of trying, frustrated at that stupid scale, or not sure where to even start, I believe that you have what it takes to make the changes that will lead to you feeling amazing, and that includes looking your best.
