Les Mills Pump: Day 1 of week 5 update!
Pump and Shred is added into our program this week and OH MY WORD it did not disappoint. I am so loving this program and the amazing total body workout I get with it. Because today was my first time doing Pump and Shred I went pretty conservative with my weights (I have to be careful as I have issue with my hip so if I push too hard I will be out for a month) so I did 5-10 pounds but still had my muscles fatiguing. Right at the end of my workout I had burned 195 calories and was in my heart rate zone for 36 minutes of the 45 minute workout.
Here are a few pictures that have captured the last week!
This is a picture of the guidebook showing the amount of weights I used for the workouts in the first 30 days!
This is me in South Dakota visiting my dad! Working out in my sister's bedroom! Traveling can make things a little crazy but when you are committed you will make it happen. The wood floors were hard on my knees to get the ab work done but I just did what I could!
And finally, the picture below represented a day in the life of a mom trying to workout. I always end up hitting pause several times, getting out as many toys as possible and doing what I can to get my workout done. Some days I have a moment of wondering if it's even worth it with all those interruptions…but I have to stop myself and be reminded that my kids are just being kids and that my workout is a part of life, not something to make life miserable.
Here is my last post about Les Mills Pump if you missed it.
