You are totally excited about the new workout program you got, you are ready for success, and then you try your first workout only to wonder what on earth you got yourself into?
Have you ever been there, are you there now? Confused by the moves and maybe even a little discouraged?
If you find yourself completely confused and feeling like you have no idea what you got yourself into don’t be discouraged. All of us at one point have felt like that, and you will master the moves in time. If you can’t keep up or you can’t catch your breath, then press pause. When I first started my weight loss journey I had to pause my program to catch my breath, and then I would just keep going. (Even if I had to pause 3-4x during a 30 minute workout- I was okay with it!) The other thing you can do as I mention in the video above is to do jumping jacks or something to keep yourself moving until you can join back in. As long as you are moving you are burning calories!
I hope that is encouraging to you, be proud of the steps you are taking to improve your health. It’s a journey and you will find that as you master the moves in your program you will also be able to intensify your workout. This is why some of these programs I have been doing for years now and still get a good workout!
