I just got this message from a friend in my weight loss group:
“So I wanted to share my small success with you! Two months ago today I decided it was time to get it together and I’ve lost 11 lbs, 81/2 inches and dropped a pants size! I’m in the 8th week of PiYo!!!”
This made me want to cry because it’s a really close friend and years ago we shared our struggles with trying to lose weight. She actually wrote me privately a few weeks into our group because she was so discouraged that nothing was happening and the scale wasn’t moving. She was even measuring a little bit more than when she started. She was tempted to quit- after all, results weren’t what she was expecting. But she kept with it! This is why accountability is so key and look where she is now. Losing weight can be so hard, but you don’t have to do it alone.
