What is T25 & How Many Calories Will You Burn?

June 25, 2013

25 Minutes. 5 Days a Week. 100% Results.
The only thing standing between you and the results you want is TIME. Shaun T experimented for the last year to design a program that delivers the same kind of results you’d expect from an hour-long program, in under 30 minutes. He’s pulled out the rest to give you everything you need, nothing you don’t. The result is FOCUS T25—and the name implies the intent: If you focus your intensity for 25 minutes, and you do it 5 days a week, you WILL get results.

Your FOCUS T25 program includes:

ALPHA Cycle 25-Minute Workouts:

  • Cardio. 25 minutes of calorie-burning, sweat-drenching cardio.
  • Speed 1.0. Ignite your quickness. Burn the fat. Fast-paced for fast results.
  • Total Body Circuit. Focus on strength and resistance—without lifting a single weight.
  • Ab Intervals. Cardio and ab intervals that shred the fat from your midsection.
  • Lower Focus. Focus on your lower-body muscles—the key to burning fat and kicking up your metabolism.

BETA Cycle 25-Minute Workouts:

  • Core Cardio. Get your sweat on! This progressive cardio-core workout is about you getting shredded fast.
  • Speed 2.0. Rev it up with Shaun’s calorie-scorching, core-focused speed drills.
  • Rip’t Circuit. Cardio … upper body … legs … abs … repeat! This is how you get ripped in 25 minutes.
  • Dynamic Core. You’ll go from vertical to horizontal and back again in this dynamic, crazy core routine.
  • Upper Focus. Shaun will help you develop the upper body of your dreams. All you have to do is FOCUS.

Plus, 4 FREE Gifts:

  • Stretch Workout. After 5 days of hard work, stretch it out—and enjoy this one! You deserve it.
  • 5-Day Fast Track. Get a jump start on your weight loss with this 5-day meal plan. It’s not easy but it works!
  • B-LINES® Resistance Band (15 lb.). Burn fat and carve lean muscle faster with our lightweight pro-grade resistance band.
  • 24/7 Online Support. Stay motivated with ’round-the-clock access to fitness experts and peer support.

And a FREE Bonus Workout:

  • Core Speed. Push hard, burn fat, and get shredded in record time with the FREE bonus workout DVD Core Speed (a $19.95 value) when you order FOCUS T25 through your Coach or Team Beachbody®.

So I am writing this and I just got T25 this weekend.  I will update this as I go through it as to how many calories I burn per workout. To give you an idea about me, I am 5’9” and weigh 152. Also, I am not going full out so take that into consideration that you will burn more as I am following the modifier about 1/2 of the time. I use a Bodybugg to track how many calories I am burning.

And just my own opinion but I LOVE that this is only 25 minutes. Seriously, often I feel guilty when I only get in a 25 minute workout because it means I have skipped 1/2 a workout. Not with this program! Feel good that you got in your 25 minutes!

Cardio      – 205 calories.
Speed 1.0- 210 calories
Total Body Circuit- 180 calories
Ab Intervals- 175 calories

(I am working on the other videos, my hip has been acting up so right now I am just walking…AND…I can finally share that I stopped because I am PREGNANT! I’m super excited but it wasn’t the time for me to do a new program.  So I will be doing this as my first program after pregnancy, and for now will keep up with modified Les Mills Pump, TurboFIRE, and Combat since I know them so well and know how my body responds. Women in my weight loss groups are loving the results they are getting with T25.)

Sarah,
Hello, I am 41 yrs. old 5'6" and 180# I exercise regularly, and try to eat healthy most of the time.  My downfall is sweets and the mind games that my brain plays with me…My question is so are you saying that for the 25 minute workout Alpha cardio you burn 770 calories total?

If you have any tips I will gladly listen!!

Thank you!

Hi Brenda!

I hear you on the sweets being a downfall, right now I have this little Twizzlers addiction- NOT GOOD! :-)

I don’t burn that many for just the Alpha workout, that would be for all of those different workouts. How long have you been doing T25? If you would like more tips you are welcome to join in on my private FB group, just contact me and I can get you info on it!

Have a great day!

I am not sure if I have a sweet addiction or it’s all in my head but I know the cravings are almost primal! I try to give feed myself wholesome food but even after a proper meal, my body won’t stop the cravings until I’ve had ice cream or whatever my sweet tooth decides it needs. I haven’t always been that way, it started when I was in my 20′s. Now, I’m in my 40′s and 180 lbs.

Oops! I was going to finish by saying that, I hope T25 will help me even a little. I’m sure I won’t see the max benefits until I can find a way to squelch the sweet tooth.
Good Luck Guys!

Sarah,

I just received my T25 program yesterday and I did the Alpha Cardio last night.  I LOVE it so far!!  I'm so excited to get my transformation journey started!  Any suggestions for a woman who LOVES her carbs on what to eat?

Thanks,
Shanna

That’s awesome! Because I was pregnant when I got T25 I am still waiting to do the whole thing, only a few more weeks and I am ready to do it! I’m glad you are liking it so much, are you in a group with others doing it as well?

Reply

No I am doing it by myself. I feel weird exercising around other people.

Oh I meant in a group online where others are also working out to the same program but you do it at your own place. I’m like you and like to just kinda do my workout at home on my own too. I have invited friends over before and it’s fun, but really it just seems more practical for me to do it alone bc then I can time it when it works for the family which isn’t the same time everyday.

Well kindof, I do have a Team Beachbody account but I don’t really have any people on there that are doing the T25 too. I think my neighbor might be getting it soon.

Hello, my stats are similar to Jennie S., female, 40′s 5’3, now at ~ 164lbs, started t25 on Valentine’s Day. So, just curious as to how it’s going for you. I was at around 178 when I started.

My husband Mark and I just started T-25 He started last week while he was out of town for work and I started last night with him and we did the cardio- and I loved it!!

I was a little nervous about trying it because I have a lot of issues with my right knee and didn’t want it to be too painful to wear I didn’t want to do it…but it was perfect I did inbetween both the girls but mostly th modifier on the jumping parts.

I was doing last summer the P 90X Kempo and by the time I got off work and home it was 5:30 and then an hopur workout, then shower and dry hair..I was fixing dinner at 8:00pm, cleaning up after and no down time really..this was great.

we are going to do the AB one tonight… I struggle in the AB area mostly.. I am not much a sweets person ..in 2003 I had gastric bypass and had lost about 1001bs then hit a plateau gaind about 30 back and have been stuck..but I am also more active than ever..my husband and I love to bikeride, hike and workout together..and for me…giving up is not an option as I should of never gained so much in the first place that person was not me..but after 3 c-sections and not losing the weight after each one it just got harder and harder. I was fortunate not to have a lot of “extra” left over as I was 37 then but I do have some extra tummy and a little bit of batwing (I hate both) but not sure if these are still workable to improve…does anyone know or have any idea about this that is willing to share?
I went from a size 28 to 18 and last summer went from 18 to a snug 14 and now back to a 16. I would be content in a comfortable 14 but would love a non snug 10/12.
Praying and hoping… this is my answer :-) (sorry for the long windedness)
