My name is Sarah. I am a busy momma of 3 boys. After graduating high school I gained 35 pounds in just 6 months, and felt lost as to how to lose the weight. I spent 10 years trying different diets and random exercise plans, and never could get the weight off. It was discouraging and frustrating. I was tired of how I felt my struggle to lose weight was affecting my self confidence, not to mention consuming so much of my time and emotional energy. I mean why was it so freaking hard to do?! I didn’t need to be a fitness model, I just wanted to be healthy and feel cut in my jeans!
In 2007 I finally figured a few things out and I lost the weight. The best part was that as the weight fell off, I began to see other parts of myself coming alive again. I felt that inner confidence rising up and as I took better care of myself, my whole family benefited.
I learned that weight loss doesn’t start with weight loss.
Weight loss is: A result of loving yourself and your life. Along with a personalized diet + exercise plan, support, and you are on your way.

I am a Life + Weight Loss Coach, Pastor, Wife, and Mom of 3 boys.
When I am not coaching women I can be found hanging out with my boys and husband. When I get time alone I love to journal, listen to podcasts, sneak in some reality tv, or hang out with a friend. Sarah, this group has made me aware of what I am actually eating. Before joining this group I thought I was doing good but in reality I was way over eating, especially late at night. I did fine during the day but at night would really struggle. Your tips helped me through this. Having the group to keep me accountable showed me that by just changing a few small bad habits I could see the weight start coming off. I loved all the fun new recipes we shared and I learned so much from the other members. I realized there is hope that I can do this!

My journey to better health began just two short weeks ago working with Sarah! I was following her page on Facebook over the past few months. Her story along with all of her posts, totally convinced me that change was indeed possible! It was definitely the inspiration I needed to give me the incentive to change my life. I began this process with the hope that I would not only shed a few pounds, but that ultimately, I would get my life back. The transformation has begun! I started a workout program that Sarah recommended. I also started to take an inventory of what I was eating on a daily basis in our accountability group. I really didn’t know what I was doing because I never counted calories before. I simply started to add more vegetables, fruits & protein into my diet. I’m now consuming anywhere from 1500-1600 calories/day and losing weight!
AWESOME news today!! My doctor called with my new numbers for cholesterol. Total cholesterol I’m down 39 pts and LDL I’m down 60 pts!!!! And to think they told me that diet alone couldn’t bring it down 🙂

I found my coach at a time where I really needed some motivation. I knew that I had the strength to push forward, but I needed extra support. The fitness group gave me an outlet where I could express my struggles, triumphs, and communicate with people who understood what I was going through…This program has rejuvenated me, body and soul.
Final check in for the last three weeks. I have gained an amazing support group. I am learning how to eat for fuel not for my soul. I only weigh myself every other week so. Since last Thursday I had lost 8lbs and two inches off my waist.I have weaned off diet sodas. I am down to one a day. I enjoy eating raw carrots, sugar snap peas, and celery. I don’t beat myself up if I “choose” to have pizza or chocolate. Which tonight I had three pieces of Halloween candy and enjoyed it. Thank you Sarah Failla for this wonderful opportunity to grow closer to the ultimate goal of being content with who God made me to be. I’m perfectly perfect in his eyes♡♡♡♡ Stretch marks from my babies and all. I feel so much better when I eat healthy. Here is to 3 more weeks of progress. Let’s do this one day at a time!
With the Challenge Group, I was held accountable and it made me look honestly at what I was eating everyday and if I was exercising. It was positive support and a neutral place to vent, to celebrate victories and mini goals, and to be educated on all the great things about exercising and diet, it helps people fulfull things that they never thought were possible.
This month has been great for me. I’ve kicked my diet Pepsi habit, which is huge for me. The binging has decreased a lot and I have lost 8 pounds!
I did really well during the week but continued to slip on the weekends. I lost 6 lbs and loved the support from the group! I’m so glad to continue this journey into the next month.

Prior to starting this, I had zero energy, lacked motivation and my drive for life was gone. I was also a new single mother, yet didn’t have the energy to keep up with the demands of motherhood. I knew my body was not functioning properly, but I couldn’t figure out why. I’ve struggled with depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation throughout my entire adult life and have been on and off a countless number of psychiatric medications.
